Orlando Science Center: Exploring Trees Inside and Out
From the 27th September 2008 to 4th January 2009 a new travelling exhibit will be coming to Orlando Science Center, designed for children aged 2 to 10, “Exploring Trees Inside and Out.”
The exhibit has already stopped at St.Louis and Seattle.
Pieces and parts of trees are larger than life.
Children will be able to:-
*Sit inside a leaf and be surrounded by the sensation of photosynthesis.
*Learn how to make a seed grow
*Explore animals in trees
*Investigate inside a tree trunk
*Hear water moving from roots to leaves
*Experience via blue screen technology “flying like a bird and soaring over the treetops.”
*Feel bark
*Smell cedar and cinnamon
*Crawl through a log and learn what lives inside
*Play in a life-sized bird’s nest
