Simpsons Ride at Universal Studios

Simpson’s Ride opened at Universal Studios

The Simpsons are visiting Krusty the Clown’s Krusty themed theme park, “krustyland”.  You enter the ride by walking amongst famous Simpsons characters from Bart to Selma, getting a taste of the attractions to come from inept fortune tellers to adverts for Latvian themed rides (Krusty’s ancestory), board your vehicle and get ready to laugh and scream!  There is an 80 foot dome that the new animation is projected on, the Emmy award winning cast do the voices.  Your vehicle tilts, tips, dips and pitches with all the mad cap screen action (I imagine it is like the Back to the Future simulation – so watch out if you are small you aren’t sat next to a fat person that then proceeds to squash you!).

You also take a virtual trip through Springfield itself.  This is a really intense state of the art ride, the Simpsons are in 3-D – not the usually 2-D we see them in, which makes it all the more real!

How tall have you got to be to go on the Simpsons ride?

40” or Itchy and scratchy won’t let you through.

Which is the best car to travel in?

Most probably the middle car in the second level at the front.

Is there an express lane?

Yes!

Is there a single rider lane?

Unfortunately not – so get there early as there are plenty of signs around the park advertising “Woo Hoo – It’s New!”
